When you use Desire Diagnostic, we collect your email address (for account creation), your assessment responses (63 questions scored 1-7), and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card number).
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not access your contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
Your assessment responses are used to compute domain scores and generate AI-powered analysis of your desire pattern. If you take the assessment with a partner, both profiles are compared to detect interaction dynamics.
Your individual responses are never shared with your partner. Only aggregated domain scores and detected dynamics are visible in the comparison view.
AI analysis is generated by Anthropic's Claude API. Your scores (not raw answers) are sent to the API to produce analysis. Anthropic does not use this data for training.
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your account is protected by your password or Google OAuth credentials.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
If you invite a partner, they create their own account and take their own assessment. You cannot see their individual answers. They cannot see yours. The AI analyst and mediation features use both profiles to identify relational patterns, but individual responses remain private.
We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session). We use Sentry for error monitoring. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or sell your data to third parties.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will delete your account, assessment data, chat history, and any shared insights within 30 days of your request.
Desire Diagnostic is an educational tool. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a clinical diagnosis. AI-generated analysis may be inaccurate or incomplete. If you are in crisis, contact a licensed mental health professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
